I've said it a lot this year, but I'm going to say it again. I am lucky. I am lucky that during a time when it's scary to turn on the news, when so many dark and ugly things are happening around us.... I get to do this. I get to witness and capture love. I stress, I get behind, I am on the opposite end of the perfection spectrum. . . but people still trust me to TRY and capture their families and their moments. For that, I am lucky and full of gratitude.
The momma of these two sweet (and I mean SUPER SWEET) little boys is a photographer I met through a local group. She is fantastic at what she does and I was super honored when she asked me to take some portraits of her boys. They are days away from closing on this house and moving into a new one. She wanted the portraits to happen in their old home before they moved. Moves are always so bittersweet. The idea of their upcoming adventure is so exciting, but they are also saying goodbye to the space that hold so many amazing memories. These two boys were born in this house. One was birthed in the living room, the other the dining room. They crawled, they walked, they ran here. So before they run off to their new adventure. . . we wanted to capture them in the space where it all began. <3
