Lourdes

Lourdes is a devout Catholic woman who missed church this particular morning because she was up late with the ladies playing Mahjong.  She gave me a guilty look when she told me, but then giggled and shrugged. 

 I obviously fell in love with her instantly.  

At 88 she has lived in Minnesota for the past 60 years, but her treasures and art from her home in the Philippines can be found everywhere.  The colors and vibrancy of her beloved belongings, however, pale in comparison to her personality.  

She sparkles.  For real.    

 Thank you, sweet Lourdes, for opening up you home and sharing some of your life with me.  

I will be back to capture you and your ladies playing Mahjong, soon.  :)
